Seth Rogen laid into Jax Taylor on Tuesday night’s (Aug. 12) episode of Watch What Happens Live.

The Vanderpump Rules super-fan stopped by the Bravo Clubhouse following the third and final part of The Valley‘s Season 2 reunion — and he put Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna on blast for the way they defended Taylor.

“It seems like they have a real vendetta against Danny [Booko]—Jason and Janet—yet are very defensive of Jax and very much advocates of Jax, who is outwardly abusive, if you ask me,” Rogen said. “It seems odd to draw a line in the sand when it comes to Danny, yet be so outwardly defensive of Jax, who is appalling, in my opinion.”

Not long before The Valley premiered earlier this year, Taylor shared that he had gotten sober after struggling with a cocaine addition for more than two decades, an issue that was addressed in the early episodes of Season 2. The former SUR bartender was absent through much of the show’s sophomore season as he sought treatment at a mental health facility after throwing a table in a fit of rage that hit his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, who threatened to take full custody of their son if he did not seek help. But even throughout his stay, Taylor continued to rage text Cartwright and spy on her through their security cameras.

Following backlash to the way he treated Cartwright on-camera and off-camera, Taylor announced that he would not be returning to The Valley next season.

Rogen, for his part, will not miss Taylor on his TV screen.

“Jax is so toxic at this point, and he’s such a narcissist that craves attention, [so] it seems wrong to give it to him by allowing him to be on television,” the actor said.

However, Rogen didn’t always have negative memories of Taylor. The Platonic star looked back on a bit he and his fellow co-stars from The Night Before filmed with the cast of Vanderpump Rules a decade ago.

“Jax was an amazing actor. He was truly incredible,” Rogen admitted. “Now, years later, I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s because he’s a compulsive, lying sociopath.’ But it translated into an incredible ability to improvise on the spot. Even at the time, I was like, ‘I think this guy’s on cocaine.’ Time will tell that he was.”
