Serafina restaurateur Vittorio Assaf was hospitalized for a week in Italy — and shared a “diary” to detail his stay.

Vittorio Assaf posted an Instagram reel in which he could be seen standing in nothing but his underwear while undergoing a series of tests involving cardiac nodes, IVs and more.

He also shared a carousel of photos from his stay and captioned it, “‘La Mamma is always La Mamma’ : diary of a week in the hospital in Italy, hopefully????soon feeling like new !!”

It doesn’t appear Assaf’s girlfriend, 22-year-old model Nya Gatbel, was by his side during his health scare, as she posted a mirror selfie to her Instagram Story that was snapped in New York City.

Assaf, who also opened Geisha, Brasserie Cognac and Farinella, made headlines in 2021 when his now-ex-wife, former model Charlotte Bonstrom, left him.

Bonstrom struck up an affair with Frenchman Thierry Gillier, founder of the fashion house Zadig & Voltaire, during the pandemic — despite Gillier having been married to her identical twin, Cecilia Bonstrom.

Assaf, 64, denied rumors of the partner swap, though he confirmed that his wife was intending to marry her brother-in-law.

“Charlotte and I are in the process of getting divorced – she wants to get remarried,” he told Page Six at the time. “[She] is getting married to Thierry Gillier, the ex-husband of her sister.”

“It is very difficult,” Assaf added, “but I have nothing to do with the sister of Charlotte.”

Assaf and Charlotte were married for more than 20 years and share two children.

Charlotte declined commenting on the story at the time, merely stating, “This is my private life. You can write whatever you want. I have two children in the middle, and I care about them more than the New York Post.”
