Francia Raísa raised concerns that she is still feuding with Selena Gomez after the former avoided answering questions about their friendship.
When a TMZ paparazzo asked the “How I Met Your Father” actress why she still doesn’t follow Gomez back on social media, Raísa simply told him, “Sunday is so fun … I’m Francia, I’m hanging out with my dog.”
The 34-year-old actress, who donated a kidney to Gomez in 2017, continued to deflect the questions about whether they stay in contact, as she raved about how good of a day it was.
Raísa, however, did acknowledge that she was dodging any questions regarding Gomez, 30, saying that she is “really good at this game” simply because she is from San Fernando Valley, known as “the Valley.”
In one final attempt to get an answer from Raísa, the pap asked if she would donate her kidney to Gomez “again,” which prompted her to say, “I would definitely speak to someone again about organ donation and the process.”
Noting that she has gone through the organ donation process “a few times,” Raísa said that it was “worth it.”
The “Secret Life of the American Teenager” actress donated her kidney to Gomez in 2017 amid the singer’s ongoing battle with lupus.
Despite their irreplaceable bond, bad blood between the two longtime friends began to boil in November 2022 after Gomez called Taylor Swift her “only friend in the industry.”
“I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong,” Gomez told Rolling Stone at the time.

“Interesting,” Raísa responded to the interview in a since-deleted comment under an Instagram post.
Following the interview, fans noticed that Raísa no longer followed Gomez on social media, though the singer did follow her.
However, the “Lose You to Love Me” songstress called Raísa her “best friend” in March 2023, suggesting the two might have worked things out.
“My best friend. Her name is Francia. She said ‘No I am absolutely getting tested,’” Gomez recalled during an interview for Apple TV+’s “Dear…”
“Within three days, she went to [get tested], and she was a match. And it was one of those moments where I felt watched over. I know I was so so so lucky,”
She continued, “I will never, ever, ever be more in debt to a person than Francia. The idea of someone not even second-guessing to be a donor was unbelievably overwhelming.”
