Leave it to Megan Thee Stallion to body-ody-ody awards show fashion.
The rapper, 29, served as the host of the VMAs 2024 on Wednesday night, switching up her outfits multiple times throughout the event.
Kicking things off on the red carpet, the “Savage” artist arrived in an elaborate black strapless gown that was slightly sheer and curve-hugging at the top and featured an extra bit of material at the bottom.
Created by Nicole + Felicia, the eye-catching design made it appear as if Megan’s dress was falling off.
Lorraine Schwartz earrings, rings and bangles added an extra bit of sparkle.
Taking to the stage a short while later, Megan paid a patriotic tribute to Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, starting the official show in on a one-shouldered red, white and blue leotard that was embellished with sequin stars and highlighted her curves.
Megan shouted out the athlete, who grew up in a suburb of Houston just like the “WAP” rapper.
However, the look was short lived.
Megan quickly switched things up, paying tribute to VMA legend Britney Spears by recreating the costume that the pop star wore during her iconic 2001 VMAs performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U.”
The show’s host chose to rock a similar green bra and layered micro shorts, and even carried a live yellow snake for the full throwback effect. However, she was visibly uncomfortable, calling for someone to help her with the reptile.

The quick changes coming, of course, with Megan sporting a red corset dress with a skirt that resembled a suit jacket and later performing in barely-there yellow bikini, pairing the tiny set with boots and thick laces that traveled up her legs.
After her “Gladiator”-inspired Pepsi commercial aired, Megan took the stage in a Roman-style blue and golden bra paired with a pleated skirt, a golden cape, thigh-high gladiator sandals and armor-inspired accessories.
The look was her second nod to Spears, with the Princess of Pop appearing in the original Pepsi gladiator commercial alongside Beyoncé and Pink in the early aughts.
Megan closed out the night with a totally sheer, sparkly black dress somewhat reminiscent of Britney’s “Toxic” music video catsuit.
When it came to her glam, the chart-topping artist initially rocked a short, sleek bob, but eventually ditched the addition of blunt bangs mid-show. She later wore an afro during her performance and ended the night with long, soft curls.
One consistent part of Megan’s look was her glam, as she sported dramatic lashes and glossy brown lips throughout the show.
Her signature long nails also couldn’t be missed, as the light pink manicure popped against her clothing.
She may have taken home two Moon Person trophies, but we’d add in an extra for best style.
