NextImg:Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs eager to testify in own defense: lawyer

It’s all about the testimony, baby.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is preparing to roll the dice and take the stand in his own defense at his federal sex trafficking trial, his lawyer claims in a revealing new documentary.

The 54-year-old hip-hop mogul is looking forward to blabbing to the jury, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, said in a preview of the TMZ Studios show “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment.”

“There is nothing that could keep him off the stand. He is very eager to tell his own story,” Agnifilo said.

Combs’ decision to testify is a risky move, as it will open him up to cross examination by prosecutors on issues, including the footage of him beating his ex-gal pal Cassie and allegations about his raucous “freak off” parties.

The Bad Boy Records founder’s life is under scrutiny following his Sept. 16 arrest for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.

A damning 14-page indictment alleged that Combs  “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct” for decades.

The rapper was also accused of “creating a criminal enterprise whose members and associates engaged in … sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery and obstruction of justice.”

When federal agents raided Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year, they found 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lube that were used during “freak off” sex sessions, the indictment said.

Combs’ staff – including security and household workers – supposedly helped arranged the session where victims were forced to engage in sex acts while Combs masturbated and recorded, the court papers claimed.

Agnifilo defended his client’s troubling predilections to The Post.

“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” he said.

Marc Agnifilo defended his client to The Post last week. J.C. Rice

“And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people.”

Combs was sued in November 2023 by his former girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie, who accused him of domestic and sexual abuse.

The suit was settled out of court after just one day, but the accusations opened the floodgates for more than half-a-dozen other alleged victims to come forward with their own lawsuits.

Combs repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, even though video footage of him assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway resurfaced in May.

The rapper apologized for his actions in a video statement, in which he described being at “rock bottom” when the footage was taken.

He claimed to have gone to therapy to work on his issues, and said that he was “disgusted” by his own actions.

After his arrest last week, Combs was ordered held without bail and was put on suicide watch.

He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn, where notorious FTX crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried is also in custody.
