That’s some eye-catching ink!
On Monday night, Scarlett Johansson bared her bold back tattoos in a romantic pale pink Valentino gown on the TIFF 2025 red carpet.
Attending the premiere for her upcoming film, “Eleanor The Great,” which is also her directorial debut, the award-winning actress, 40, showed off her collection of body art, depicting several large roses and a small lamb.
Johansson’s backless dress with dangling off-the-shoulder sleeves and a floor-sweeping hemline put the detailed designs on full display.
Johansson styled her blond hair in a twisted updo, finishing with a smoky eye, pink glossy lips and bright red nail polish. She accessorized with dangly diamond earrings.
“Eleanor The Great” follows Eleanor Morgenstein (portrayed by June Squibb), a 94-year-old woman who moves from Florida to New York City following the death of her best friend. There, she joins a support group of Holocaust survivors at the Manhattan Jewish Community Center, where she lies about being a survivor herself.
Johansson and the cast chatted with the Los Angeles Times about the forthcoming film, which will be released nationwide on September 26.
She detailed the first day on set, explaining, “We were outside in Coney Island. It was cold. The crew hadn’t had the time to bond or anything like that.”

Johansson added, “We certainly didn’t have enough time to figure out what we were doing. It’s hard to do that when you’re outside and there’s the general public. It was a little bit hectic. Technically, a challenging day.”
Kellyman, who plays Nina in the movie, chimed in, saying, “This is what makes Scarlett a brilliant director, because I had a great time. I had no idea it was stress. I was just having fun.”
