More On:

horror

As with any of the films in the Saw movie franchise, Saw X is a bloody horrific title with lots of blood, gore and screams. So much so, in fact, that neighbors called the cops while the film was being edited.

Director Kevin Greutert told NME that Steve Forn, key editor for Saw X, was paid a visit by the police while he was editing sound for a particular scene in the film where a character gets their eyes sucked out.

Greutert said: “There was a knock at the door. We have the doorbell [camera] video of the police walking up, [Forn answering the door] and the police saying, ‘The neighbours [have been] calling and saying someone’s being tortured to death in here.'”

Forn apparently replied, “‘Actually, I’m just working on a movie… You can come in and see it if you want?'” The police didn’t oblige, stating they just wanted to make sure everything was ok.

Greutert adds, “It’s a pretty funny story … Plus Steve is such a mild mannered guy. I can only imagine the look on his face when he realised what was happening!”

This latest installment of Saw, which stars Tobin Bell, has been praised as one of the best sequels in the franchise and true to the original concepts.

Saw X is currently in theaters everywhere … just in time for Halloween.
