With Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale in full swing, several of Oprah Winfrey’s “Favorite Things” are deeply discounted — including a Dr. Barbara Sturm SturmGlow Serum Essentials Set featuring the Glow Drops she swears by.
“I gave them out to all my girls for Christmas and they were so excited it was like I gave them Birkin bags or something,” Winfrey said on TikTok in 2023.
“I was so excited about these products … that I called up Dr. Sturm and I said, ‘I want to invest in your company,'” she added. “I love the products so much.”
Formulated with polygonum bistorta root (an anti-aging ingredient that addresses skin tone), wild rose extract (to refine pores), purslane (which is rich in vitamin A and omega-3 fatty acids) and hydrating hyaluronic acid, Glow Drops promise to boost radiance and revitalize tired skin.
After Stella McCartney introduced her to Sturm’s skincare, Oprah included the product — along with the brand’s Enzyme Cleanser — on her “Favorite Things” list in 2022.
“I love [them] most and use [them] on days I don’t want to wear makeup,” she wrote at the time.
Hailey Bieber also name-dropped the drops in a 2018 Vogue interview, while Bella Hadid credits Sturm with changing her skin “forever.”
Katie Holmes is also a devotee, telling Vogue in 2022, I haven’t done anything to my face, and I care about using products with ingredients I know.”
In addition to the Serum Essentials Set, Nordstrom also sells an introductory Glow Kit featuring travel-size versions of the full regimen.

This year’s sale goes live online and in-person beginning with early access on Tuesday, July 8 for Nordy Club members, and will be available to the general public Saturday, July 12 through Sunday, August 3.
