Joe Biden was portrayed as a hapless buffoon on SNL — Saudi Night Live.
Saudi Arabia’s state-run television network aired a skit where the actor playing the president stumbles as he climbs the staircase leading to Air Force One while the comic portraying Vice President Kamala Harris looks on in horror.
The skit poked fun at the real-life gaffes of the 80-year-old Biden, who has had a penchant for frequently losing his balance.
In another snippet from the show “Studio 22” that went viral on Friday, the actor portraying Biden is seen wrapping up a speech and waving from a podium at the White House.
He then salutes and steps down from the podium, extending his hand to another person that is nonexistent.
The fake Biden is seen waving to two flags behind him.
He then takes a couple of steps forward to shake hands with another person only to realize there’s nobody there.
The actor portraying Harris then calls the president over and shakes his hand.

Biden then goes on to shake hands with an American flag before he is guided in the right direction by a startled Harris.
This is the second time in the last year that MBC has aired a sketch mocking Biden and Harris.
In April of last year, “Studio 22” produced a sketch in which Biden is seen as a forgetful old man who falls asleep at the podium and needs to be woken up by Harris.

The sketch was notable given the deteriorating state of US-Saudi relations since Biden took office in January 2021.
As a candidate, Biden had vowed to shun Saudi de facto ruler Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, whom Western intelligence officials blame for the gruesome 2018 killing of US-based commentator Jamal Khashoggi.
The administration was particularly irked with the Saudis for not boosting oil production and for refusing to ostracize fellow OPEC+ member Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.

But Biden reversed himself and courted the young Saudi monarch as oil prices rose and the need for lower gas prices became especially acute given last year’s critical midterm elections.
