Sarah Silverman and Joy Behar shared a kiss on The View when the comedian stopped by to promote her new Netflix special PostMortem.

After Silverman opened up about the deaths of her parents and her short-lived stint on Saturday Night Live, Behar told her longtime friend and fellow comedian, “It’s always fun to see you.”

“I love seeing you!” Silverman replied.

Whoopi Goldberg then asked the friends if they wanted “to do the goodbye.”

Silverman wasted no time at all before leaning in and planting a big smooch on Behar. The View audience applauded as they pulled apart and Silverman added, “We’ll all do it!”

The shocking moment didn’t appear at all shocking to Behar’s co-hosts.

Ana Navarro jokingly asked Silverman how Behar’s breath is, considering The View host keeps a bowl of breath mints on hand at all times on the show.

Silverman is always pulling stunts when she visits The View. In 2022, she shocked the hosts by admitting she and her boyfriend Rory Albanese had been sharing a toothbrush since they started dating in 2020.

“We’ve never not shared a toothbrush,” she said on the show, per the New York Post.

“Why is that so gross? We kiss each other where we pee!” she then added.

Behar disagreed, firing back, “Not everyone does that!”

Goldberg cut the interview short and threw it to commercial before Silverman could gross them out any further. “Look, do what you wanna do in your house!” she told Silverman.

But Silverman got the last word in as the show went to commercial, telling the ladies of The View, “My body, my choice!”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
