And just like that, the nameplate necklace is back.
Sarah Jessica Parker marked the 25th anniversary of the premiere of “Sex and the City” Tuesday by bringing back Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic nameplate necklace.
“It’s our silver anniversary but the memories will always be gold. X, SJ,” the 58-year-old Emmy winner captioned a close-up photo of the bauble on Instagram.
Fans of the hit HBO series were thrilled by the necklace’s return.
“This is a powerful image to commemorate today. It’s such an important piece of culture and symbol of the past of so many women,” one commented.
“This necklace signifies so much! It was linked to her identity,” a second chimed in, while a third wrote, “This should be in the Smithsonian.”
“When Carrie found it in the lining of her purse,” a fourth added, referencing the iconic scene from the series finale.
“Growing up as a native New Yorker, I would see these necklaces. And Carrie, living in New York, would have seen it somewhere, so it had that reason for being,” the show’s costume designer, Patricia Field, told The Post in 2021 of the piece’s backstory.
To this day, Field still sells a customizable version of the necklace in her online store.
The “Sex and the City” anniversary follows the news that Kim Cattrall will reprise her role as PR maven Samantha Jones in Season 2 of “And Just Like That” — a move “SATC” author Candace Bushnell wholeheartedly supports.

Bushnell — who started her career as a columnist at the New York Observer, à la Carrie Bradshaw — told Page Six “there was a piece missing” from the series.
“When I heard the news I was happy and surprised. The fans love Kim and I think it will be great for the show. There was a piece missing. She was a major part of that girlfriend circle,” Bushnell said after The Post revealed Cattrall is expected to make a cameo at the end of Season 2.
Cattrall, 66, previously announced she wouldn’t return for the reboot and join former co-stars Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Davis amid her ongoing feud with SJP.
Alas, it seems even Samantha Jones is feeling nostalgic.
