Leave it to Sara Haines to make things “weird” during a conversation about graceful aging on this morning’s episode of The View.
The discussion came on the heels of Jennifer Aniston‘s interview with British Vogue, in which she revealed that she “can’t stand” when people tell her she looks good for her age.
“It does kind of make sense, like, no you just look good. To put that caveat on it is a little strange,” Alyssa Farah Griffin told the Hot Topics panel, to which Haines fired back at the 33-year-old, “You haven’t hit an age where anyone says that to you yet.”
Meanwhile, Sunny Hostin — who said she takes it as a compliment when people say they want to look like her when they hit her age — pointed out that Goldberg, 67, is one of the lucky ones who “doesn’t age.”
“No, I spread,” Goldberg quipped, before Haines leaned over and whispered something unintelligible in her ear — likely an NSFW comment about spreading, although we can’t be completely sure, as the ladies didn’t reveal her exact words to the audience.
“Sara made it weird,” Griffin chimed in, while Goldberg — through laughter — added, “Sara took it to a whole other place.”

When Haines pointed out that she usually waits for commercial breaks to make those kinds of comments, Goldberg joked, “Yeah, but she couldn’t help herself!”
The moderator — who initially rose to fame in the mid-1980s before going on to become an EGOT winner — followed up the conversation by dishing on her outlook on aging.
“I don’t think about it. I am what I am,” she said. “I’m as old as I am and some days I look fabulous and some days it’s like, ‘What happened, Whoopi? Did you get hit by a car today?’ It is what it is. I feel good about me no matter what though.”
Goldberg added, “Celebrate every age you get because so many people didn’t get to be that age.”
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
