Observations from Tuesday’s Giants practice:

Former Giants QB Phil Simms attended practice.

So did former special teams assistant Anthony Blevins, who is currently the head coach of the XFL’s Vegas Vipers.

Jamison Crowder had a pass go through his fingertips after largely beating his defender, which prompted the wide receiver to angrily chuck the ball against the fence in frustration.

DL Dexter Lawrence and RB Saquon Barkley had a tense exchange after Barkley was knocked to the turf.

Lawrence grabbed at Barkley, and the two exchanged some words before they were separated by teammates.

OL Devery Hamtilon, OL Tyre Phillips, WR Collin Johnson, RB Gary Brightwell, LB Cam Brown, S Nick McCloud, WR Cole Beasley, WR Wan’Dale Robinson and CB Aaron Robinson did not practice.
