Salma is on fire.

On Tuesday, Salma Hayek was announced as one of four cover stars of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2025, with the actress, 58, looking stunning while posing in a pool.

She wore a sparkling green bikini and Jacquie Aiche jewelry for the cover shot, dripping wet after emerging from the water for the photoshoot, which was lensed by Ruven Afanador in Mexico.

Inside the issue, Hayek expressed her excitement about the issue.

“I remember when I was young, a long, long time ago, I was always excited to see the Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated, and [thinking] ‘Who’s going to be in it?’ Of course, I didn’t look like a model, so it never crossed my mind that one day I would be in it,” Hayek said.

“If somebody had told me I was gonna be in it at 58, I would have sent them to the madhouse, but the world has changed, and that’s exciting.”

And she isn’t slowing down any time soon. “I could retire, but I don’t want to miss out on this time. I fought for it, you know, and I’ve been part of it, and I think it’s really remarkable that a magazine like Sports Illustrated [Swimsuit] says that it’s O.K., maybe even cool, to be past 50 and still be able to feel not just sexy, but for me, to be free and not be self-conscious of your body like you have to hide,” she said.

Hayek is one of four cover stars this year, including LSU alum Livvy Dunne, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and model Lauren Chan. Other stars featured inside the pages include Brooks Nader, Alix Earle, Camille Kostek and more.

Plus, there are tons of athletes this year, including Ilona Maher, WNBA player Cameron Brink and others.

“Every single woman included this year brings with her a unique and powerful reason for being featured in
the issue,” Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s editor-in-chief MJ Day wrote in a press release.

“Salma Hayek Pinault is a force of nature,” she said in the article. “As an actor, producer, philanthropist and champion for women, Salma is a beacon for Latinx communities, a tireless advocate and a person whose passion for art, life and humanity has few rivals.

Her why is rooted in her ability to inspire generations to come, by showing us all that living on your own terms is the ultimate power. She has a creative fire that lights up everything she touches. Her passion for life, for storytelling, for humanity is rare. It’s real.”

Salma is making her debut in the famed magazine, but she’s known for her skin-baring bikini posts at various luxurious vacation spots.

She celebrated her 58th birthday in September 2024 with an entire Instagram post dedicated to her various two-piece looks, proudly declaring that “none of these are throwbacks.”

Plus, the ageless beauty has been vocal about her skincare routine, crediting 17-year-old daughter Valentina with keeping her stocked on the latest Korean beauty products. She also recently revealed that she tried out a skin-tightening treatment on her “turkey neck” and avoided going under the knife as she expressed it’s one of her biggest fears.

The “Frida” actress also got real about her wellness routine, crediting meditation with her youthful appearance.

“You have to find your way. For me, exercising is hard,” she admitted. “It’s really, really difficult to have the discipline to do it. But meditation is a walk in the park, because it’s my own form of it.”

“When I don’t [meditate] for some time, guess what? Not only [does] the face starts to drop and everything starts to drop, [but also] my herniated disc, the problem in my neck, the problem in my hip, my ankles [comes back]. I start breaking down,” she said at the time.

“Sometimes when I’m doing it, people tell me when I come out of the room, ‘Oh my God, you look 20 years old,’” she raved.
