Tensions are rising in the Big Apple. In Bravo’s newly released midseason trailer for The Real Housewives of New York City, Brynn Whitfield and Sai De Silva break the fourth wall amid a heated exchange.

In one shocking scene from the reboot’s trailer, Whitfield — who seemingly repeated something De Silva had told her in secret — claims that her co-star had, in fact, said it on camera. However, she’s met with fury upon her accusation.

“It was not on fucking camera!” De Silva angrily shouts back, leaving Erin Lichy wide-eyed in the background.

While it’s currently unknown exactly why the two women are beefing, De Silva previously opened up to Page Six about the “tension” she had with Whitfield toward the end of filming.

“We had a bit of tension toward the end of filming, and there were just some things that I kind of told her that I wish she wouldn’t have said,” she told the outlet. “And I’m such a girl’s girl; I’m very loyal. I shouldn’t have said it to her in the first place.”

De Silva reiterated, “I shouldn’t have shared it. And when I did, it felt like a circle of trust at that moment, and she kind of broke that circle of trust, and I was very disappointed,” before adding that she thinks Whitfield is “fine with being out of the circle.”

Elsewhere in the midseason trailer, Lichy accuses Jenna Lyons of ditching her co-stars on their flight because she allegedly refused to fly coach. Plus, the real estate agent gets into it with Ubah Hassan when they go back and forth calling each other a “bitch” while on the same cast trip.

The women also begin to question Jessel Taank‘s relationship with her husband — whom she hasn’t slept with in a year and a half. Despite Taank trying to entice him with some sexy lingerie, whatever hearsay is spewed among the group results in the publicist calling Lichy a “parrot” — and Lichy subsequently dressing up as the colorful bird.

However, nothing will top Whitfield eating leftovers in bed.

“This is probably why I’m not married,” she says as she shovels food into her mouth while lying on her pure white sheets.

Same girl, same.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Sunday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock. Check out the full trailer above.
