


Hollywood is ready to celebrate the best of television and film.
The 31st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are set to kick off from LA’s Shrine Auditorium on Sunday, Feb. 23.
The winners are selected by SAG-AFTRA members, aka their peers. Fresh off her Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards win, Demi Moore is up for Best Actress in a Movie for “The Substance.” Adrien Brody, meanwhile, has been sweeping for his work as lead actor in “The Brutalist.”

This year’s SAG Awards will stream live on Netflix on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 8/7 CST from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Netflix will also be airing a preshow at 7/6 CST, showcasing red carpet arrivals, interviews and fashions.
Kristen Bell will be pulling double duty on Sunday. Not only is the star hosting the award ceremony but she is also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in “Nobody Wants This.”
The Netflix rom-com series also stars Adam Brody, who is up for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series.
Bell previously hosted the ceremony in 2018 and Netflix teased her return in a hilarious promo video.
The films nominated for Best Picture include “Conclave,” “Anora,” “Wicked,” “A Complete Unknown” and “Emilia Pérez.”
Among the series nominated are “Bridgerton,” “Hacks,” “The Day of the Jackal,” “Shōgun” and “Shrinking,” to name a few.

Although a full list of presenters has not been released, Sofia Carson and Noah Centineo are this year’s SAG Ambassadors.
Jane Fonda will be awarded the 60th SAG Life Achievement Award in honor of both her decades-long career and humanitarian efforts.
In a statement announcing the award, SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher said, “Jane Fonda is a trailblazer and an extraordinary talent — a dynamic force who has shaped the landscape of entertainment, advocacy and culture with unwavering passion. We honor Jane not only for her artistic brilliance but for the profound legacy of activism and empowerment she has created.”
