NextImg:Sabrina Carpenter extends ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour.’ Get tickets to see her at MSG

Apparently, Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour’ was too short.

Due to overwhelming demand — “you asked and we listened” Carpenter shared on Instagram — the “Espresso” singer announced she added a second North American leg to her international run.

She’ll now hit five arenas all over the U.S. and Canada this fall with special guests Olivia Dean, Ravyn Lenae and Amber Mark joining her on select dates.

Early in the run, Carpenter is slated to headline at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Oct. 29, Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1.

In 2024, the two-time Grammy winner performed at both MSG and the Barclays Center; the New York Post’s Angela Tricarico attended the latter gig and gushed “It was so crazy live. [She] sounded so good.”

“I loved her set,” she added. “It was like seeing the 1950s from a 1970s lens like in ‘Grease.’ They’re doing the ’50s in the ’70s.”

Most recently, the petite songstress performed a duet with Paul Simon to kick off “SNL50” on Feb. 16. Before launching into Simon’s 1966 classic “Homeward Bound,” he introduced the song by sharing “I sang this song with George Harrison on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1976.” Carpenter quipped, “I was not born then and neither were my parents.”

Prior to the fall haunt, the 25-year-old Quakertown native and former “Girl Meets World” star will wrap up her international dates; that includes a pair of British Summer Time shows at London’s Hyde Park on July 5 and 6.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Sabrina Carpenter shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the newly-announced ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour’ dates is Friday, March 7.

Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They have a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and will be delivered before the event.

20.) “Don’t Smile”

Encore

21.) “Espresso”

On Friday, Aug. 23, 2024, Carpenter dropped her sixth studio album “Short n’ Sweet.”

Clocking in at just 36 minutes, the record is short and sweet but also saucy and slinky. It’s a major step forward for the budding pop star. By our estimation, traces of folk, R&B, synth rock, and country line the sonically adventurous album.

Standout tracks — other than the ubiquitous and ebullient “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” — include the downbeat, chillwave-esque “Don’t Smile,” winsome “Slim Pickins” (this song may be the very definition of “demure”) and self-righteous “Taste.”

Don’t sleep on the dreamy Olivia Rodrigo-esque “Lie To Girls” either. The urgent lyrics are a gut punch, too. “You don’t have to lie to girls/ if they like you/ they they’ll just lie to themselves” will be rattling around in our brains rent-free for months, and for good reason; that’s a wallop.

At all shows, Carpenter will be joined by an opening act or two. To make sure you’re familiar with their sound(s), here’s each artist’s most-streamed song on Spotify below.

Carpenter isn’t the only major star out and about this year.
