Today (July 26) is actress Sandra Bullock‘s 59th birthday (say what?!) The Academy Award-winning actress received a funny and frisky birthday shoutout from her The Proposal co-star Ryan Reynolds.

The Deadpool star took to his Instagram to wish her well on her birthday and to share a clip from their 2009 rom-com, where the two awkwardly bump into while (ironically) both are in their birthday suits. In the scene, Bullock’s Margaret has just stepped out of the shower and is in pursuit of a towel, while Reynolds’ Andrew just stripped off his sweaty clothes after getting back from a run.

Reynolds captioned the video, “Happy Birthday to the inimitable and stunning Sandra Bullock! For your birthday this year, I got us both intimacy coordinators. And an HR department. And clothing?”

The film follows Margaret Tate (Bullock), an intense corporate boss from Canada who is in charge of Andrew Paxton (Reynolds). When Margaret is being deported to Canada, she tells her supervisors that her and Andrew are getting married, prompting all sorts of chaos to ensue as they travel to Alaska to visit Andrew’s family.

In an interview with Moviefone promoting the film back in 2009, the two stars were asked about how they prepare for a nude scene.

“You know, I think under any other circumstance, with any other person, and I don’t know cause I don’t know every other person, but anyone I can imagine,” Bullock began, “I don’t think doing that scene would have been as comfortable and as easy.”

The two had been friends for nine years prior to the release of the film.

“It wasn’t easy, cause it’s humiliating,” she then clarified. “Some people are very comfortable walking around naked. Outside of the shower and bathtub, I am not.”

Bullock also added that nude scenes are often more difficult for women, who may be more self-conscious filming these scenes under societal standards.
