Rumer Willis proudly breastfed her newborn daughter, Louetta, while hanging out on a beach after being mom-shamed for posting nursing photos on Instagram.
The eldest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore cradled her little one with one arm during feeding time while sitting on a picnic blanket in the sand in a selfie posted on her Instagram Story on Thursday.
“Life is good,” she captioned the photo.
Rumer, 35, sported a purple and pink crinkle bikini top with coordinating high-waisted bottoms that allowed her pelvis tattoo to peek out.
She accessorized with two gold chain necklaces and wore her hair in a messy bun.
In another sweet snap, the “House Bunny” actress hugged her diaper-clad cutie close to her chest as they cooled off in the shade.
Her beach day snaps were posted nearly a week after the new mom defended herself against trolls who criticized her for posting a photo of herself in the nude while nursing her infant.
When one netizen curtly commented on the post, “why,” Rumer replied, “cause I want to.”
But the “Dancing with the Stars” alum really let her claws out when another critic called her an “insecure … narcissist” and said “nursing a baby is very private and should not be displayed like a circus event.”
Rumer clapped back, calling the hater out for having “such a limited view of it.”
“I think it’s incredibly important to share because there is an incredible amount of shame that comes with being born into a female body and I want to lead by example in teaching my daughter that she doesn’t have to be ashamed of her body ever and that she can decide how she wants to share it,” she wrote back.
The “Empire” alum also shut down a troll who accused her of having “low self-esteem.”
“I really couldn’t care less what your opinion is about what you think I’m doing or why cause I know my heart and intentions but I truly pity you cause it says so much about you and how you value and love yourself and how you value other women that this is the way you took this post. … I feel so sorry for you,” she wrote, adding that she is the “happiest [she has] ever been in life.”
Rumer concluded her online rant by declaring that “things like breastfeeding need to be honored instead of shamed.”
The Broadway star has been embracing her postpartum body and proudly showing off her new figure on Instagram for her followers to see.
“This body of mine … is a little softer and rounder and jiggly and different and that’s ok, more than ok it’s kind of amazing because I grew a person inside of it,” she captioned a naked photo of herself on social media last month.

Rumer’s dad, Bruce, became a grandfather for the first time amid his battle with dementia. She shared a photo of the “Die Hard” actor, 68, on grandpa duty while celebrating Father’s Day in June.
“Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life,” she wrote at the time. “His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou.
