There’s one person who won’t be watching Roseanne Barr‘s new anti-woke show on X, formerly known as Twitter — and that’s her former Roseanne co-star Sandra Bernhard.

On Monday night’s (Aug. 7) episode of Watch What Happens Live, Bernhard told host Andy Cohen that she finds Elon Musk‘s rebranding of Twitter “disgusting” and said she “hate[s] it,” before spilling her thoughts on Barr’s new show that’s set to stream on the social media platform.

“Heartbreaking. It’s heartbreaking,” she said. “I mean, [Barr] was one of the most original, fabulous voices in comedy. And I just don’t know what’s happened. We haven’t spoken in a really long time. Sadly.”

The two comedians began working together in 1991 when Bernhard joined the fourth season of Roseanne as Nancy Bartlett Thomas. She remained on the ABC sitcom until it ended in 1997, before returning to the 2018 reboot — which was ultimately canceled by the network after Barr posted a series of racist tweets about Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to Barack Obama.

Following the scandal, Bernhard admitted that she “kinda had it” with Barr while speaking on a 2018 installment of her Sirius XM radio show Sandyland.

“I’m really trying to breathe through it and stay in that ‘dedicated to the one I love’ mindset,” Bernhard said, referring to Barr, per Page Six. “But I gotta be honest with you — I’m kind of hitting a wall with this. Kinda bummed out. Kinda had it.”

According to a report published by The New York Post earlier this month, Barr signed a six-figure deal with Publicsq — an anti-woke company reportedly backed by Donald Trump Jr. that markets itself as a conservative Amazon — to launch a new show on Musk’s rebranded platform X. Sources say the show could consist of a “written monologue or sketch comedy” and will reportedly air monthly.

“We’re followers of Elon and it’s pretty evident to us that whatever we want goes,” Barr told the outlet. “It’s a great way for people to fight back against totalitarianism.”

The star must be getting used to controversy. Back in June, YouTube yanked an episode of comedian Theo Von’s This Past Weekend podcast for a “violation” of the platform’s “hate speech” policy after Barr, who is Jewish, made offensive jokes about Holocaust denial and claimed people “should be glad” that Jews “control” Hollywood. Amid the fiery backlash, Musk — a self-proclaimed free speech advocate — wrote, “Comedy is legal on this platform!”

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
