Bluey doesn’t just have a hold on its kid audience. The animated children’s show has also found a fan in its adult viewers—and even one of its voice actors.
Rose Byrne joined Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos on Wednesday’s Live with Kelly and Mark, where Consuelos brought up that she “did a voiceover on that massive show, Bluey.”
“Did your kids flip out over that?” he asked the mother of two.
The Platonic star confirmed that “they did,” and that she also didn’t go unfazed by the gig.
“I mean, any kid does,” she continued. “I mean, I’ve never been more nervous. I love this show… This show is so magical, and it’s a huge success. I played Chilli’s sister Brandy. It’s an episode called ‘Onesies.’ It’s an extraordinary episode, too. It’s very moving. But, yeah, it meant a lot to me.”
Ripa and Consuelos, who share three grown children, explained to Byrne that they “don’t know Bluey” and “missed” the show because their kids are adults now.
“I mean, we’ve seen it. We’re alive,” Ripa quipped.
Underestimating the age of Ripa and Consuelso’ children, Byrne replied, “You’re probably, what stage are you? Sabrina Carpenter stage, or something?”

Ripa said, “No, no, no. Our kids are, you know, they’re big Rose Byrne fans.”
Consuelos chimed in, “Yes, massive.”
Byrne got a kick out of the compliment, as the co-host couple noted that their children “are out of the house.”
