Robert De Niro’s daughter described holding her late son, Leandro, for the last time in a heartbreaking post.

Drena De Niro posted a black-and-white photo of the 19-year-old on Instagram and emotionally revealed that the “same man” who picked her up from the hospital when he was born also drove them to the funeral home “where I touched and held you for the last time.”

Expressing her tremendous grief, the Daredevil Films founder said she’s been relying on friends and family to hold her up during this time.

“None of this is right or fair and my heart hurts in a way I never knew possible while still breathing and barely functioning,” Drena, 51, wrote.

“You were kindness acceptance and love and I can’t believe any of this is real YOU made everything bearable and every burden lighter.”

Drena, who has not shared Leandro’s cause of death, wrote that her late son “didn’t deserve to die like this” but found solace in believing that “God needed a strong powerful angel in their army.”

“I’m holding you every second of every moment I’m [sic] my heart and memories until I’m with you again,” she ended her emotional message.

Drena, who is the daughter of the Oscar-winning actor and Diahnne Abbott, announced Sunday that Leandro had passed away.

“You were so deeply loved and appreciated and I wish that love alone could have saved you,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so sorry my baby. Rest in Peace and Eternal Paradise my darling boy.”

The “Goodfellas” star, 79, also expressed his grief for the sudden loss of his grandson.

“I’m deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo,” the actor said in a statement to Page Six via his rep Monday.

“We’re greatly appreciative of the condolences from everyone. We ask that we please be given privacy to grieve our loss of Leo.”
