Robert De Niro supports fellow old dad Al Pacino.
The “About My Father” actor told Hoda Kotb on the “Today” show Thursday how “very happy” he is for his “Irishman” co-star, who is expecting a baby with girlfriend Noor Alfallah at age 83.
“He’s a few years older than me,” De Niro, 79, noted. “God bless him.”
Just last month, the “Goodfellas” star revealed he had welcomed his seventh child, his first with his partner, Tiffany Chen.
When Kotb asked De Niro about fatherhood at his “stage in age,” the Oscar winner said he has a “certain awareness” about parenting.
“When you’re older, you have awareness of certain things in life, dynamics. Everything, family dynamics,” he explained. “You can’t avoid learning certain things and then how you can deal with those, manage them and this and that.”

De Niro subsequently received an orange “Today” onesie, which he proudly brandished for his youngest daughter, Gia, at home.
The “Taxi Driver” star is also the father of Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, twins Julian and Aaron, 37, and Elliot, 25.
Similarly, Pacino is already a parent ahead of his fourth child’s arrival, having previously welcoming daughter Julie, 33, and twins Anton and Olivia, 22, with Jan Tratton and Beverly D’Angelo, respectively.
The “Scarface” star has yet to comment on Alfallah’s pregnancy news.
The duo have been quietly dating since the COVID-19 pandemic, a source told Page Six in April 2022.
The insider noted at the time that the 29-year-old “mostly dates rich older men” and got “along very well” with Pacino.
Although Showbiz reported on Tuesday that the pair “have no relationship” and aren’t currently together, Pacino appeared on Alfallah’s Instagram account for the first time weeks ago.
In April, the couple were also photographed out to dinner with friends.
Alfallah made headlines in the past for her romances with Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger and billionaire Nicolas Berggruen.
As for Pacino, the Oscar winner has been romantically linked to Diane Keaton, Lucila Solá and more actresses over the years.
