


Michael Madsen, the longtime actor best known for starring in Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill Vol. 1, has passed away. He was 67.
Local reports say Madsen was found unresponsive in his Malibu home Thursday, July 3. NBC News reports the actor died from cardiac arrest, according to his manager Ron Smith.
Smith released a joint statement alongside Madsen’s other manager Susan Ferris and publicist Liz Rodriguez.
“Michael Madsen was one of Hollywood’s most iconic actors, who will be missed by many,” they wrote, per NBC Los Angeles.

They highlighted his recent appearances in Resurrection Road and Concessions, and revealed he was in the process of releasing a new book, Tears For My Father: Outlaw Thoughts and Poems, that is currently being edited.
