


Dark Shadows and The Twilight Zone actor John Lasell died on Oct. 4. He was 95.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the news of his death came via an online obituary notice.
The late actor, who was born John Whitin Lasell Jr. on Nov. 6, 1928 in Worcester, Massachusetts, portrayed vampire hunter Dr. Peter Guthrie in 25 episodes of the gothic soap opera Dark Shadows. The late actor also appeared in a 1961 episode of The Twilight Zone.
Other shows he appeared in include As The World Turns, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, Perry Mason, Flipper, The F.B.I., Mission: Impossible, The Mod Squad, Mannix, Cannon, Lassie, Dallas and Falcon Crest.
Per IMDb , Lasell earned his most recent TV credit in an episode of A Death in California in 1985.
He also appeared in films like Suppose They Gave a War and Nobody Came (1970), Helen Keller and Her Teacher (1970), The Organization (1971), Honky (1971), Deathmaster (1972).
