Tensions between Jessel Taank and Sai De Silva reached a boiling point on Sunday night’s (Oct. 8) episode of The Real Housewives of New York City. After their mini-golf-based blowout, fans of the show continued to slam De Silva for her “mean girl” behavior.

The rift between the two women all started on the girls trip to Anguilla, where De Silva became frustrated at Taank for making it sound like she had a difficult upbringing. Things only escalated when Taank showed up to their lunch 35 minutes late and proceeded to compare her experience with her alcoholic uncle to De Silva’s experience with her alcoholic mother.

The drama continued on the most recent episode, titled “A Night at Swingers,” when they all met up at a swanky mini-golf place for a group date. During their heated convo, De Silva revealed she was “offended” by Taank’s comparison from their lunch date, before calling out the fashion publicist for talking “in circles” and not being “real” or “honest.” The content curator even accused Taank of lying “all the time” about her husband’s plans to fly to Vietnam for a day.

“I seriously am so over this mean girl shit. And it is mean girl shit,” Taank fired back amid the ambush, before adding in her confessional, “Quite frankly, I’ve never met in my life anyone that lacks the amount of empathy that she lacks in this moment. And by the way, she hasn’t seen this bitch yet. I’ve been very PC.”

Meanwhile, a majority of social media have declared themselves Team Jessel.

“Every conversation Sai has with Jessel ends with ‘I don’t care,’ followed immediately by a scene of her talking to Erin about Jessel & Pavit’s relationship,” one wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Make it make sense, Sai!”

Another added, “My god, Sai you are so rude & clearly care since you’re obsessed with bringing up Jessel’s husband’s Vietnam trip. When Jessel says she is sick of the mean girl behavior, she’s not wrong. Sai is textbook mean girl.”

“Ugh, Sai is so mean for no reason,” a third person posted, while someone else noted, “I’ve said it this whole season but Sai needs therapy. You can be (brutally) honest but does every situation warrant/need brutal honesty? She just comes off as mean and it’s exhausting. So Team JTaank it is.”

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Sunday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. New episodes drop the next day on Peacock.
