Andy Cohen exposed former Real Housewives of New York City star Carole Radziwill for anonymously shading him in a New York magazine profile — and she is clapping back.
Cohen confidently named Radziwill as his anonymous critic on Monday’s (June 10) episode of SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, claiming there are “18 reasons why” it was the former reality star.
“But it was so weird,” he added. “Carole has said a lot of unkind things about me that she’s tweeted and been quoted about so I was like, ‘Why are you going off the record here?’ It was so weird to me. I didn’t understand. Why not just put your name to it? That was so weird.”
In the article — which was published on June 3 — a source that Cohen claims is Radziwill slammed RHONY, telling the outlet that the show “went from silly humor about middle-aged women getting drunk and being delusional about their status and having funny, petty arguments, to Housewives investigating and doing opposition research and making up false storylines and leaking stories on each other and trying to get one another fired.”
The source also took aim at Cohen’s baby shower, specifically when former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna ordered everyone to get up and dance.
“I just thought it was such a cringe moment,” the source said. “Because that’s the dynamic. Everyone just dances for Andy Cohen.”
After Cohen made the accusation on his radio show, Radziwill fired back at her former boss on in a series of posts X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Hey Carole here ????????♀️ Someone can make a truthful observation & there’s always one short-ish dude waiting to be offended,” she wrote. “At this point why would any normal person use their name? They’re all so vindictive which I believe is the point of the quote & confirmed by Andy’s nasty response.”
Radziwill then called Cohen a “bully” for outing her, despite her choice to remain anonymous in the story. “Imagine outing a woman for whatever reason chooses to remain anonymous. He’s absurd & should apologize immediately. But I’m not holding my breath,” she said.
The journalist also revealed exactly why she opted to stay anonymous.
“I didn’t want to put my name in an article in which I had no idea of the context,” she explained. “I told the writer they’re all vindictive & then Andy proves it by outing me. He’s lost his mind likely from all the legal trouble. Hope he gets [the] help he needs.”
DECIDER has reached out to reps for Cohen for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
