Dolores Catania is thrilled for her ex-husband, Frank Catania, and his wife-to-be, Brittany Mattessich.
“All u need is love and that ring ‘wow’ ????????❤️,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star captioned a congratulatory Instagram post Monday after the couple announced their engagement.
“I couldn’t be happier for these two lovebirds,” Dolores, 52, insisted. “Congrats on the engagement!”
The Bravolebrity went on to “officially welcome” Mattessich “to the family” and wish them both “a lifetime of love, health and happiness” — before cheekily reminding Frank, “happy wife happy life.”
Dolores concluded her sweet upload with the hashtags, “#happiness #engagement #wedding.”
Mattessich revealed Sunday that Frank had asked for her hand in marriage after four years of dating.
“We’re Engaged!!!! ????????,” the blond beauty, 34, wrote alongside two photos of the epic proposal.
“I’m so excited to start this next chapter with you along with all the other good things we have going on… Thankyou [sic] for being you & making me the happiest girl in the world.”
Mattessich made sure to note that she “wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else other then [sic]” Frank and added, “love you so much my fiancé ????????????.”
The Garden State hunk, 58, popped the question with what appeared to be a massive, princess-cut diamond on a pavé band.
The happy duo then posed for pictures in front of a backdrop of red roses featuring a neon sign that read, “Will you marry me?”
For the joyous occasion, the pair matched in black tops and denim jeans, though Mattessich completed her look with thigh-high boots.
“RHONJ” and Bravo stars across the board immediately flooded her comments section with messages of excitement and support, but perhaps the most notable remark came from Dolores’ boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, whom Frank once joked looked like Buzz Lightyear.
“@missbrittyann @frank.catania.sr congratulations you to love birds [sic] ❤️,” the Irishman gushed beneath the snaps.

As for the newly betrothed, they responded sweetly to Dolores’ warm wishes.
“Thank you so much Dolores and I can not thank you enough for always keeping our family together,” Frank wrote to the mother of his two children, while his new fiancée added, “❤️❤️ Thankyou [sic] for always making me feel like part of the family ❤️❤️❤️ love yousss ❤️❤️❤️.”
Frank and Mattessich have been close for over a decade but didn’t get serious about their romance until early 2022.
Last August, the twosome told Page Six in a joint interview that blending their families had been surprisingly seamless.
Frank even noted that his “harshest critic” — his daughter, Gabrielle “Gabby,” 28, — adored her father’s love interest.
“Gabby says, ‘How do you not like Brittany? You can’t help but like Brittany!’ … It’s not only my daughter; it’s the entire family. And Dolores, too!” the general contractor and house flipper said excitedly.
Mattessich — whom Frank previously trained ahead of a fitness competition — let out a “thank God” when we asked how she felt about being so accepted by the Catania clan.
“Oh, I love it,” she beamed. “You know, that’s all you ever want.”
Frank and Dolores — who were wed from 1994 to 1998 — have an admittedly unconventional relationship, as the exes-turned-pals would vacation together and even lived together long after their divorce.
But Frank said his friendship with Dolores did not affect his relationship with Mattessich.
“Before me and Brittany were an item, she knew the relationship between Dolores and I. And she knew Dolores; she was around Dolores. And when we started dating, I gotta be honest with you, it was not a problem whatsoever,” he shared with us.
“Brittany came around, [and] it took her a little while just to get used to the semantics. But quite honestly, Brittany is perfectly OK. And the more somebody hangs out with Dolores and I on a casual basis, you realize there’s nothing to worry about.”
Frank and Dolores are also parents to son Frank “Frankie” Jr., 25.
