The Tres Amigas are back to whooping it up in the first trailer for The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17. In the teaser — which begins by cleverly comparing the stereotypical 1950s housewife to the messy television personalities we’ve grown to love — we get our first look at Tamra Judge, Taylor Armstrong and Vicki Gunvalson‘s highly anticipated return to the Bravoverse.
So where do we begin?
In a montage of chaotic clips, Emily Simpson flashes her bare boob to the camera, Shannon Storms Beador does a keg stand and Judge — who is back after a two-year hiatus — tells the group she “just shit” herself while they were white water rafting.
In terms of drama, Heather “Fancy Pants” Dubrow seems to find herself battling several of her castmates when Simpson says, “I thought we were friends. I guess I was wrong.”
She also gets into it with Armstrong — who is the first Housewife to cross franchises after appearing on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from its start in 2010 until her departure in 2013.
“For you to shit-talk my career? Fuck you,” Dubrow snaps at the RHOC newbie.
At the same time, Judge angrily chucks a dinner napkin into the face of Jennifer Pedranti — a yoga studio owner and new Housewife she brought into the group. As Teresa Giudice would say: that’s not very “namaste” of her.
On the dating front, Gina Kirschenheiter tells her now-husband Travis Mullen that she’s “over everything” — likely referring to her messy divorce from Matt, which has engulfed her storyline the last couple of seasons. However, when he doesn’t buy it, the teaser flashes to a clip of Kirschenhieter sobbing to Dubrow, who tells her, “You’re going to drive him away with that.”
It also looks like we’ll see the fallout of Beador’s relationship with John Janssen — who broke up with her in January of this year after more than three years of dating.
When the duo is asked about marriage, an awkward silence befalls them before we see a clip of Beador scolding her castmates for bringing up her relationship and ultimately storming out of a party. In the driveway, she assures cameras that she’s “not a crazy person.”
But the most surprising part? When Judge opens the door to a screaming Gunvalson — who rejoined the series as a friend after leaving in 2020.
If one thing is for sure, it’s that the gang is getting back together — and this is just the revamping RHOC needed to come back from a lackluster couple of seasons.
RHOC Season 17 premieres on Wednesday, June 7 at 8/7c on Bravo. Check out the full trailer above.
