Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge posted an emotional call-to-action to her social media accounts after her daughter’s high school was put into lockdown, leaving the 17-year-old “traumatized.”

On Thursday night (April 13), Judge posted a screenshot of the “text no parent wants to get.” In the string of messages, her daughter Sophia Barney informed her that she and her classmates were sheltering in place and that it was “not a drill.” When the reality star asked if there was a shooter, Barney — who said they were hiding — replied, “I don’t know … No one knows.”

In a tearful video, Judge updated her followers as she told them that “everything’s OK” and that they “caught the guy,” who “wandered onto the campus and told security he had a weapon,” which turned out to be a pocket knife, per KTLA.

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum added, “The kids are traumatized, the teachers are traumatized.”

“They had the students barricade the door with bookshelves, they were laying on the floor. One teacher handed out hammers, another one had a fire extinguisher, ready to go after somebody,” she explained. “Kids were crying, ‘I don’t want to die.'”

Judge continued, “You get the text, and you’re so helpless. There’s nothing you can do in this fucking world. I’m so sick of it. I’m so sick of what’s going on.”

She revealed that her daughter, who is in her senior year, now doesn’t want to go back to school, before concluding, “It’s got to stop!”

The mom-of-four — who shares three of her children with her ex-husband Simon Barney — left RHOC after Season 14 in 2019. However, she announced last year that she would be returning as a full-time cast member for the show’s 17th season, alongside Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Taylor Armstrong — the first Housewife to make the jump to a different city.

If you need to catch up on what Judge has been up to in the meantime, you can watch her on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 2, which is currently streaming on Peacock.
