It’s been an emotional season for Tamra Judge. The longtime Real Housewives of Orange County star is not only in the midst of peeling back lifelong traumas in therapy, but she’s also dealing with the fact that her best friend, Teddi Mellencamp, was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. The stress of it all became too much to bear when, during a heated argument with just about everyone in her cast in the latest episode, Judge stormed out and announced her exit from the show mid-season.

While Judge may have quit RHOC during the cast trip to New Orleans—a.k.a the last place she had been with Mellencamp before she was given her diagnosis—she ultimately comes back to film with Heather Dubrow in this week’s episode, per an exclusive clip obtained by Decider.

Sitting across from Dubrow at a restaurant, Judge’s lip quivers as she tells her friend, “All I know is I’m dealing with a lot right now,” to which Dubrow replies that she’s “sorry” for everything Judge is going through.

“I’m feeling sad for Tamra, but she does not want to hear what I’m saying,” Dubrow says in her confessional. “Now that she’s telling me everything that’s going on, it’s all very sad, and it’s all very dark, and it really doesn’t leave any room open to continue this conversation.”

Back at lunch, Dubrow tells Judge, “I’m glad you’re doing better. I want to be there for you. You can always call me. You can always text me, even if you just need to vent. You know that.” Before we know it, the two women are back to joking around with each other about their “hot” waiter.

So, where does Judge stand with the rest of the women after that explosive dinner in NoLa? That’s something we’ll have to find out when the episode airs tomorrow night. In the meantime, Fancy Pants has her back, despite facing backlash for it.

“When you’ve been friends with someone for a long time and you see them struggling and going through a very difficult time, not just with Teddi, who obviously is her best friend, who was having health issues at the time and all of that, but also through her therapy and what was being uncovered there,” Dubrow told Decider when she stopped by our studio last week. “I was privy to all of that information. Of course, I want to help her and protect her and take care of her. That was my goal.”
