Elizabeth Lyn Vargas’ ex-boyfriend Ryan Geraghty has been sentenced to six years in prison after he barricaded himself inside her home and threatened her life, according to Deadline.

The 34-year-old reportedly pleaded guilty Tuesday and was immediately put behind bars.

Vargas’ rep did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on the sentencing.

However, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum appeared to subtly address the conclusion of the horrifying incident with a cryptic post on her Instagram Stories.

She shared a message that read, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

In February 2022, Geraghty was in a two-hour standoff with police inside of Vargas’ home.

He was armed and police said at the time that he was “actively threatening the life of the victim” and would not leave the property.

“I’m taking you out and then everybody else,” Geraghty could be heard telling Vargas in security footage that later leaked online.

He also said to his ex after she called police, “They can shoot me if they want. I don’t give a f–k anymore. I’ve got nothing to lose.”

Images from the scene of the crime showed SWAT team members with semi-automatic rifles and armored vehicles arrived at one point and surrounded Vargas’ home.

However, the former reality star was not held hostage, according to previous reports.

She was reportedly seen outside of the house, wearing a bathrobe and cooperating with police, while the standoff took place inside.

Geraghty was later charged with assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, felon in possession of a firearm and extortion, according to Newport Beach Police.

Vargas’ manager, David Weintraub, previously told Page Six that his client was “shaken up” over what had occurred because it was an “extremely traumatic experience.”

He previously concluded, “Fortunately, the Newport Police Department saved her and she’s doing well.”
