Kamala Harris‘ appearance on The View this week may have landed her in some hot water with her opponent.
A new Axios report reveals that Republicans are intending to spend some major cash to promote of a clip of Harris from her Tuesday morning (Oct. 8) appearance on the ABC panel show, during which she claimed “there is not a thing” she would have done anything differently than President Joe Biden.
“Expect to see this clip every single time you turn on the television between now and Nov. 5,” an ally of former president and 2024 Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump told Axios.
For those who didn’t catch the Vice President live at the Hot Topics Table yesterday morning, she was asked by Sunny Hostin whether or not she would have done anything differently than Biden.
“There is not a thing that comes to mind,” she conceded. “I’ve been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.”
However, she did clarify later on in the interview that she and Biden are “obviously two different people.”
“We have a lot of shared life experiences — for example, the way we feel about our family and our parents and so on,” she added. “But we’re also different people and I will bring those sensibilities to how I lead.”
Biden appeared on The View on Sept. 25, where Whoopi Goldberg likened Trump “a bug.”
“He just kept being there, he was like a bug right there. Bzzz, bzzzz,” she quipped, as Biden pretended to squash an imaginary bug beneath his palm.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10 c on ABC.
