Another Real Housewives of Potomac star is facing legal issues. Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie Osefo were reportedly arrested and booked on fraud charges on Thursday (Oct. 9) night in Westminster, Maryland.
Per legal documents obtained by TMZ, Wendy is facing 16 charges, seven of which are felonies. The outlet reports that she is being charged with “false/misleading info fraud in excess of $300,” as well as “one misdemeanor count of making a false statement to an officer.” It’s currently unclear what Eddie is being charged with.
The couple, who have been married since 2011 and share three children, announced their plans to get into the cannabis business in a Season 8 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac. In the Season 10 premiere of the hit Bravo show, Wendy gushed over how financially successful their business, Happy Eddie, was becoming.
“I’m really proud of Eddie. Happy Eddie is taking off, especially now that it’s in three different states,” she said, before adding, “Happy Eddie is, you know, financially successful. Cha-ching!”
Decider has reached out to Wendy’s rep for comment, but did not hear back by the time of publication.
The legal drama is never-ending in the Real Housewives universe. Earlier this year, Wendy’s RHOP co-star Karen Huger was sentenced to one year in prison following her 2024 DUI arrest. While Huger maintained her innocence throughout RHOP Season 9, police camera footage that was released amid her trial showed her visibly intoxicated on the night of her arrest, which came after she crashed her car into a street sign.

Huger began her sentence in February 2025, but was released from prison in September 2025 after only six months behind bars. Bravo cameras were, of course, there to capture the moment she walked out of prison. Therefore, we can’t help but wonder: will they pick back up to document this turbulent time in Wendy’s life? Only time will tell.
In the meantime, you can watch new episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac every Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
