The Ravens reportedly offered their quarterback Lamar Jackson more guaranteed money than the record-breaking contract the Eagles agreed upon with Jalen Hurts on Monday.

During an appearance Monday on “The Pat McAfee Show,” NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Baltimore offered Jackson $250 million total with $200 million guaranteed in September 2022, including $133 million guaranteed at signing.

Last month, Jackson — who does not have an agent and is representing himself — denied a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter that said he turned down $200 million guaranteed.

Previous reports stated that Baltimore offered Jackson $133 million guaranteed.

On Monday, the Eagles extended Hurts on a five-year contract worth $255 million with $179.3 million guaranteed — making the quarterback the highest-paid player in NFL history.

The deal came two months after the Hurts led the Eagles to Super Bowl 2023, where they lost to the Chiefs.

While comparing Jackson and Hurts’ situations, Rapoport referenced a tweet by Sarah Ellison of the “Ravens Vault” podcast, who broke down the differences in the Ravens’ offer to Jackson and Hurts’ new deal with the Eagles.

Hurts is set to make an average of $51 million a year on his extension, worth a total $255 million.

Jackson, who became the first quarterback to get the franchise tag from the Ravens last month, has yet to sign a new contract.

The former MVP quarterback shared on Twitter last month that he requested a trade from the Ravens on March 2.

Baltimore placed the non-exclusive franchise tag on the 26-year-old Jackson five days after he said he requested a trade.

The Ravens and Jackson have until July 17 to negotiate a long-term deal before the quarterback would have to be on the tag for 2023.

If they can’t reach an agreement by that NFL-mandated deadline, a new deal can’t be signed until after the 2023 season.

The latest news about Jackson comes a week after the Ravens reached a one-year, $15 million deal with Pro Bowl wideout Odell Beckham Jr. last Sunday.

After the deal was made public, Jackson and Beckham were seen partying together at Miami Beach hotspot LIV nightclub in a video on Twitter.
