Two former Knicks might be on the move again.

According to The Stein Line’s Jake Fischer, the Raptors may be looking to move on from RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.  

The duo went to Toronto in December 2023 as the return in the OG Anunoby deal, with Quickley inking a five-year, $175 million contract early on with the Raptors.

The No. 25 overall pick in the 2020 draft has performed very well in Toronto, averaging 17 points and 5.8 assists per game.

Barrett, meanwhile, has been consistent for the Raptors, averaging over 20 points in all three seasons he has played in Toronto. 

The problem for the 25-year-old, however, is that he’s a shooting guard — a position where the Raptors have a surplus of talent.

Both Barrett, a Canadian-born star and No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 draft, and Quickley, 25, are likely to draw some intrigue on the trade market, with both under contract for the next few seasons.

Barrett’s high floor could add to a playoff-ready core, or make him a centerpiece to build around.

It’s unclear if the duo would be shipped out as a package deal.

The Raptors would seemingly rather prioritze the trio of Scottie Barnes, Grady Dick and Brandon Ingram as their wing trio, per Forbes’ Evan Sidery.

It is unclear if both would be used as a package deal — though Fischer reports they could be shipped out along with Australian center Jakob Poeltl in a deal that would bring Kevin Durant to The Six.

The insider also notes that the Raptors’ No. 9 overall pick in the upcoming draft is seen as most likely in the top-10 to be moved.
