The Rangers placed veteran forward Barclay Goodrow on waivers on Tuesday.

Goodrow, 31, has three years remaining on his contract with an average annual value of $3.64 million.

In his third year with the Rangers this season, Goodrow had four goals and eight assists in 80 games.

The alternate captain then had six goals and two assists in 16 playoff games.
