Raiders safety Roderic Teamer was arrested on Saturday evening, shortly after being activated off of injured reserve.

The 26-year-old was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and speeding and was released from jail Sunday morning, according to the Associated Press.

Teamer has been listed as inactive for the Raiders’ Week 12 matchup against the Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Raiders addressed the matter in a brief statement.

“The Raiders are aware of an incident involving Roderic Teamer last night,” the statement read.

“The club is in the process of gathering more information and will have no further comment at this time.”

An undrafted free agent out of Tulane in 2019, Teamer signed with the Chargers in April of that year and made his NFL debut that September.

He was suspended for the first four games of the 2020 season for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

Teamer was originally placed on IR in October after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 6 against the Patriots.

He has appeared in six games this season in what’s been his third year with the Raiders.

It’s been a tumultuous year for the Raiders, who had a coaching shakeup earlier this month with the firing of head coach Josh McDaniels.

General manager David Ziegler was also let go.

Linebacker coach Antonio Pierce was elevated to interim head coach.

The Raiders (5-6) will kick off against the Chiefs (7-3) at 4:25 p.m.
