Not everyone seems enthused about the Las Vegas Raiders’ offseason plans.
Moments after news broke Tuesday that the Raiders are trading tight end Darren Waller to the New York Giants in exchange for a third-round pick in this year’s draft, Las Vegas running back Josh Jacobs appeared to offer his take on the move in a few words.
“S–ts sad fr [for real],” Jacobs tweeted.
The Giants’ acquisition of Waller — which won’t become official until the new league year begins Wednesday — was due in part to the third-round pick they received last year upon dealing wide receiver Kadarius Toney to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 30-year-old Waller has spent the past five years with the Raiders, stacking up over 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons in 2019 and 2020.
He played in nine games last year and was placed on injured reserve in November after aggravating a hamstring injury.
Waller returned to action a month later.
It’s been a busy offseason for both Waller and the Raiders, who agreed to a three-year, $67.5 million deal with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo on Monday.
The former 49ers starter replaces longtime Raider Derek Carr, who was released by the team in February and has since signed with the Saints.
They also placed the franchise tag on Jacobs at a cost of $10.091 million after he led the league with 1,640 rushing yards and scored a career-high 12 rushing TDs.
As for Waller, he recently swapped vows with Las Vegas Aces guard Kelsey Plum.

The couple tied the knot on March 4, with the WNBA champion posting photos of their glamorous nuptials on Instagram.
With the move to New York, Waller joins an offense that includes Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley and quarterback Daniel Jones, who recently signed a four-year, $160 million deal with the team.
