To make matters worse for the Raiders following a 38-10 loss to the Bills, they were without Davante Adams to finish the game.
The three-time first-team All-Pro receiver took an unnecessary helmet-to-helmet blow off a Jimmy Garoppolo deep ball, with the Raiders down 28 points with around three minutes left.
The ball, which was thrown deep into triple coverage, was incomplete following a shot from Bills safety Taylor Rapp.
Adams left the game and was evaluated for a concussion, according to NFL Network.
Adams had 84 receiving yards on six catches and a touchdown in the loss prior to leaving the game injured.
In Week 1, the former Packers star hauled in six passes for 66 yards.
The Raiders were already without wide receiver Jakobi Meyers this week because he is in concussion protocol.
The former Patriots receiver left Week 1’s contest against the Broncos with a concussion and was not available for Week 2 against the Bills.
Adams is coming off a third consecutive 1000-yard season, and the six-time Pro Bowler is 213 receiving yards away from hitting 10,000 for his career.
Since being selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Adams has been largely durable, playing 134 regular-season games and 11 in the postseason.
