Rachel “Raquel” Leviss is breaking her silence on the explosive Vanderpump Rules Season 11 premiere — and she said she still owes Ariana Madix an apology for continuing to stay in touch with Tom Sandoval even after she was eviscerated by her former castmates at the Season 10 reunion.

In last Tuesday’s (Jan. 30) premiere episode, which takes place three months after Scandoval broke, Madix says, “From what I can tell, Tom and Rachel are still very much together because they’re sending mail and packages back and forth to each other. She even sent a postcard with lightning bolts all over it.”

On her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast, Leviss revealed that she “got emotional” watching the new episode of Vanderpump Rules.

“It was hard to see because I’m in a different place than I was back then,” she said. “I got emotional watching that. I recognized that my behavior was so hurtful to her.”

While Leviss apologized to Madix for her part in the affair during the reunion, she recognized that she probably owed the reality star another apology for continuing her relationship with Sandoval.

“I feel like, with my apology that I made at the reunion, I had all the right intentions and I was extremely sorry, but there’s another part of an apology, which is your actions afterward,” she said. “They have to align with what you’re saying.”

Leviss continued, “And by sending him letters and being in contact for a good amount of time, I still want to take this time now to apologize again because I am in a different place than I was back then, and I can see things a lot clearer now.”

The former beauty queen first joined Vanderpump Rules during its fifth season as James Kennedy‘s girlfriend. After her months-long affair with Sandoval caused a wave of backlash last year, Leviss decided to sit out Season 11.

“I am watching this show and I’m really having to accept the fact that I’m not on it this season, and that was a decision that I really had a lot of weight in making,” she said. “I didn’t take that lightly, and so it’s almost like a part of me grieving what could have been in a different parallel timeline. But I do think that I made the right decision by not going back.”

Vanderpump Rules airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to the next day on Peacock.
