A Virginia house of piled-up filth and feces outside has left the property smelling “like you’re in the toilet” and neighbors hopelessly fed up, according to a report.
Problems started at the putrid home on Celebrity Lane in Fishersville about six years ago and conditions have only grown worse since – leading county officials in hazmat suits to eventually interject.
“There were over 30 buckets, 30 buckets of human feces on the ground in between the house and the building,” next-door neighbor Cheri Huber told WHSV Saturday.
Huber, who lives in the home with her mother, said she can’t even open some of her windows because of the overwhelming stench.
“It’s becoming a health hazard. My mom and I can’t even open the back windows to our home. You don’t want to smell garbage. You don’t want to smell human feces,” Huber told the station.
“There is an abundant smell of feces. It smells like you’re in the toilet.”
Doug Wolfe, Augusta County’s community development director, said officials in hazmat suits collected between 30 and 40 poop-filled buckets last month and sent numerous letters to the homeowner about the ongoing problems.
The county plans on taking the homeowner to court next Friday to get more access to clean up the filth.

Huber told WHSV while the homeowner is living with other people, she believes they are not properly taking care of him.
She’s sick of begging public officials to stop the madness.
“I don’t wanna see people getting out of their car butt-naked, I do not want to see people squatting next to my house peeing with their pants down,” she reportedly said. “I do not want to see stuff like that.”
