Princess Anne has been hospitalized as a precaution following an “incident” at her home Sunday evening, Buckingham Palace shared in a statement Monday.

Anne, 73, who is the sister of King Charles III, sustained “minor injuries and concussion” and remains in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for observation.

She “is expected to make a full and swift recovery,” the statement added.

“The King has been kept closely informed and joins the whole Royal Family in sending his fondest love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”

The royal family’s statement didn’t provide any additional details as to the nature of Anne’s accident at Gatcombe Park.

The Princess Royal’s accident comes almost two weeks after Anne nearly lost control of her horse during the annual Trooping of the Colour procession.

Cameras captured the only daughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip attempting to maintain her composure as her horse began to act unruly while she rode alongside two guards who were also mounted on horseback.

Anne, who rode in the procession with her brother Prince Edward and nephew Prince William, was eventually able to regain control of her animal and continue down the streets normally.

Anne served as the monarch’s “Gold-Stick-in-Waiting,” which means she was entrusted with her older brother’s safety.

Although Anne’s close call briefly captured viewers’ eyes, most royal fans focused their attention on Kate Middleton’s grand return to the public after a nearly 5-month absence due to her battle with cancer.

The Princess of Wales, 42, looked elegant in a simple white dress by her go-to designer Jenny Packham that featured a large navy-and-white bow attached to her neckline and a matching waistband.

She also wore a wide-brimmed hat designed by Philip Treacy.

Middleton posed on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, where she stood beside William, their kids, Charles and Queen Camilla to watch the flypast.
