Prince William and Princess Kate don’t want Prince Andrew’s home, thank you very much.

Insiders dispelled rumors that King Charles is kicking his disgraced brother out of his longtime home, Royal Lodge, to make room for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

A source close to William and Kate told Page Six the couple is “extremely happy” at Adelaide Cottage with their three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 8, and 5-year-old Prince Louis.

And a move could prove a costly security headache for the king, multiple sources added.

The Waleses only relocated from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor last September.

However, there has been chatter that Charles wanted to move the family into Andrew’s $38m Royal Lodge in Windsor — which boasts 30 rooms and is considerably larger than the four-bedroom Adelaide — after telling his younger brother to move out.

Not only do William, 40, and Kate, 41, want to stay put, but Royal Lodge lies outside the security perimeter of Windsor Castle. As a result, it has separate security for which Charles foots the bill.

However, taxpayers would be stuck with that separate bill if working royals William and Kate were to move in, a fate Charles is eager to avoid.

Adelaide Cottage — along with Frogmore House, once home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle — sits within the security perimeter covering Windsor Castle.

Andrew, 63, lost his role as a working member of the royal family after paying a multi-million settlement to Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Guiffre in March 2022 as part of her sexual assault claim against the prince.

Andrew currently has a 75-year lease for Royal Lodge, which he shares with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.

While Page Six can confirm that Charles, 74, himself foots the expense for his brother’s personal security, reports last week claimed that Andrew is covering Royal Lodge’s roofing costs this summer — but refusing to move out during the work, fearing he will never get back in.

One royal source said: “Charles is not chucking Andrew out, but Andrew will have to find the money to look after the property himself — and where is that coming from?”

As the Daily Mail pointed out last week, it would make sense for Andrew to temporarily move to nearby Frogmore Cottage — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former home to which the king has suggested Andrew could permanently “downsize.”

Frogmore Cottage

It’s been reported that Charles would like for Andrew to move to Frogmore Cottage, the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which would allow Charles to stay paying for his home security.

Page Six confirmed earlier this year Harry and Meghan were left stunned after being told to quit their Windsor home, given to them by the late Queen.

Harry’s cousin, and Andrew’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie is currently living in the five-bedroom home with her husband Jack Brooksbank after giving birth to her second son, Ernest, earlier this month.
