Rihanna brought a plus one to the Met.
The “Diamonds” hitmaker, 37, revealed she’s pregnant with her and boyfriend A$AP Rocky’s third child on Monday in show-stopping fashion: by showing off her baby bump on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet.
The Fenty Beauty founder looked incredible in a cropped Marc Jacobs suit jacket and corseted floor-length skirt, featuring a thigh-high slit and a sculptural bustle seemingly made of tuxedo arms.
She matched the black-and-white look to two-tone heels and styled her hair in a sleek updo underneath a statement-making hat.
“Rihanna’s outfit tonight is … I don’t know, whatever just really don’t cover her baby bump,” Rocky, who shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 1 with the pop star, told Extra earlier in the night.
Before hitting the famous steps at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Rihanna was pictured exiting the Carlyle hotel in a bump-baring gray top and matching knee-length skirt.
The star elevated her pre-Met look with a brown fur stole and Messika jewelry, including sparkly studs a chunky necklace and a toi et moi ring.
While A$AP Rocky — who is a co-chair for the event alongside Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams — arrived on the earlier side, Rihanna was characteristically late to fashion’s biggest night.
For his part, the “Fashion Killa” rapper, 36, wore a custom black Awge suit and Marmot jacket — a nod to Harlem, where he grew up — in accordance with the night’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”
He also carried a Briony Raymond umbrella featuring a seemingly gun-shaped handle covered in 90 carats of diamonds, seemingly referencing the recent trial where he was found not guilty of a 2021 shooting involving ex-friend A$AP Relli.
This year’s Met Gala exhibit theme pays homage to black dandyism, a style of dress often put on display by A$AP Rocky both on and off the red carpet and embraced by Rihanna — as well as their two young sons.
It’s not the first time the “Diamonds” hitmaker has revealed her pregnancy in a major way, as she announced her second pregnancy during her internet-breaking halftime performance at the Super Bowl LVII in 2023, putting her bump on full display in a form-fitting red cargo jumpsuit from Loewe.
The Bad Gal had to miss out on the 2024 Met Gala as she was sick with the flu after teasing a relatively “simple” look that relied heavily on hair and makeup.
However, Rihanna and Rocky were certainly a highlight of 2023, when they had fans guessing if the longtime couple had tied the knot when the former showed up in a voluminous white floral gown.
The outfit not only resembled a wedding dress, but was fitting to close out the evening — which honored late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld — as Chanel shows were known to end with a bridal style.
While the pair have never quite confirmed or denied their marital status — instead preferring to tease fans via their various music and fashion projects — they’re always causing a commotion on the red carpet with their eye-catching outfits.
Rihanna has, of course, been the most anticipated star on the Met Gala red carpet since her iconic 2015 yellow fur-trimmed Guo Pei gown for the “China: Through The Looking Glass”-themed gala.
Other memorable looks include 2017’s floral explosion and 2018’s pearl-encrusted papal-inspired minidress, robe and mitre.
Her maternity style is bound to be epic.
