It’s official — porn is in its golden age.
Grandmas and other elderly ladies are all the rage in the world of adult entertainment, dirty new data from Pornhub shows.
The company unveiled its top searches of 2023 on Thursday, exposing the world’s kinky, clandestine X-rated viewing habits.
Despite the planet’s purported obsession with youth, it appears many porn perusers are secretly scouring the web for content featuring those of a more advanced age.
The “mature” category is now the seventh most viewed worldwide, according to a Pornhub press release, surging in popularity by a staggering 69%. And no, that number is not a typo.
Searches with the word “granny” grew by 132%, while “GILF” (Grandma I’d Like to F–k) spiked by a significant 168% when compared with numbers from 2022.
Pornhub was unable to explain the seemingly random rise in the popularity of sleazy senior content, but the surge in other searches seemed more related to the culture at large.
For instance, the company noted a drastic increase in size-related searches, perhaps prompted by inflation.
The terms “big,” “bigger” and “biggest” collectively grew by 177% worldwide, while searches containing “huge” ballooned by 67%.
Meanwhile, amid the ongoing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, searches containing the word “soldier” were up a whopping 332%.
And, with growing interest in AI programs such as ChatGPT, it’s perhaps unsurprising that searches for “robot” grew by 304%. Terms like “sex robot,” “AI robot,” and “3D robot” were among the most popular.
Pornhub also revealed the website’s most popular pornstars, with 25-year-old Miami native Abella Danger taking out the top spot.
The petite brunette trounced amorous Aussie Angela White, who came runner-up.
Meanwhile, the company also disclosed that Americans were the most prolific users of their X-rated website, with frisky Filipinos rising three spots to take second spot.
The Pornhub press release also delved into the specifics of America’s viewing habits, noting some unusual state-by-state differences.
For instance, those in North Dakota were more likely to search for “loud wet sex” than those in other parts of the nation.
Californians, meanwhile. showed a particular proclivity for “Asian stepmom,” while Texans were more likely to look for “creamy” content.
Pornhub also revealed that Americans are lasting longer on their site, with the average length of a site visit up 16 seconds from last year. Americans now browse and watch for an average of 9 minutes and 51 seconds per session.
Marylanders had the longest visits on average, lasting 11 minutes and 31 seconds, while Louisianan residents didn’t take long to log on and get off.
The bawdy Bayou State denizens seemingly liked to indulge in a quickie, taking just 8 minutes and 21 seconds per visit on average.
