From the Jeopardy! set to the open road, Platonic Season 2 is taking viewers and characters on all sorts of exciting field trips.
Last week, we saw Charlie’s (Luke Macfarlane) Jeopardy! dreams turn into nightmares, and this week, as he continues to recover from freezing in front of Ken Jennings and breaking into a Jeopardy! exec’s house, Will (Seth Rogen), Sylvia (Rose Byrne), and Katie (Carla Gallo) are taking a road trip to the desert.
Per Apple TV+‘s official synopsis for Platonic Season 2, Episode 6, “Will faces the reality of working for his ex-fiancée. Sylvia questions Charlie’s stability.” Can’t wait to see what chaos inevitably unfolds? Decider’s exclusive clip offers a first look at the trio’s road trip — specifically, a tense food stop that shows Will and Katie call Sylvia out for thinking she’s better than them!
“My life is stable and predictable. Like I know who I’ll be waking up next to in five years time,” Sylvia tells her pals over burgers and beer, prompting a heated Will to respond, “You don’t know jack shit, girl. You don’t know nothing!”
“I’ve never been divorced. I don’t go around leaving people at the altar,” Sylvia snaps back, leaving her pals shocked and visibly offended.

“Oh my god. Are you kidding me right now?!” Will asks. “You fucking think you’re better than us!” When Sylvia coyly suggests those were Will’s words, not hers, Katie chimes in and asserts herself, claiming, “You’re just as fucked up as we are! We are the two most interesting people in your life.”
When Sylvia remains in denial, Will brings out the big guns, saying, “You don’t get to judge us. You also don’t get to come to a place called Red’s fucking Tavern with a toothless man behind the bar and order a lettuce-wrapped hamburger. You think you’re too good for buns!” PREACH!
Again, Sylvia deflects the accusation, but when her friends continue to push back, she snaps. She grabs the bun off of Will’s burger and shoves it into her mouth in a single bite. With her cheeks full of bread, she stares at her stunned pals and attempts to speak, but the bun muffles her words. “Very normal,” Will observes. And with that, the scene ends! That said, we’re sure this snippet only shows a fraction of the comedy, conflicts, and chaos ahead in Season 2, Episode 6, “Road Trip,” which airs September 3.

The episode also marks the halfway point in Platonic Season 2, with only a few episodes left until the October 1, 2025 finale. Want more Platonic coverage to hold you over until “Road Trip”?
