NextImg:Pilates pro Anne Mahlum snags $9M NYC triplex penthouse

Ab-trepreneur Anne Mahlum, the founder and former CEO of Solidcore — a Pilates workout studio chain — has bought a triplex penthouse at 260 Bowery in Nolita.

It was last asking $8.99 million. She paid $8.35 million for the spread, which she’ll use as an investment.

That said, it’s now available as a $47,500-a-month rental — up from $39,000 a month, which it asked last March via the previous owner.

Mahlum tells Gimme Shelter she bought the penthouse because, “It’s a buyer’s market and the timing was great. It’s a beautiful space at an attractive price, and the neighborhood will continue to grow.”

“We think the rental market is stronger now,” Mahlum added.

The 4,156-square-foot home comes with four bedrooms, four baths — and 1,174 square feet of outdoor space. It’s all in an eight-story, five-unit boutique condo designed by Morris Adjmi Architects that was built in 2018.

The home opens to a great room with a gym, a balcony and skyline views — as well as a formal dining room, a separate office and a custom chef’s kitchen.

The main bedroom suite comes with a walk-in closet, an ensuite spa-like bath, a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling glass doors. Up top, there’s also a roof lounge with an outdoor kitchen.

Mahlum, whose primary residence is in North Dakota, owns a home in Chelsea and another in California. She has also launched a new gym chain, Ambition, which opened in Brooklyn Heights, with additional locations slated to come in Flatiron and Chelsea.

The listing broker was Tal Alexander of Official.

Mahlum was repped by Scott Francis and Elaine Dealy of Serhant.
