A Philadelphia motorcyclist has pled guilty to stomping on a woman’s windshield and pointing a gun at her head while her kids were in the car.
Cody Heron, 26, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime on Wednesday.
Heron went viral in October after a video of him stomping on Nikki Bullock’s windshield and pointing a gun at her while her children, ages two and five, and girlfriend were in the car.
The pair had gotten into a heated exchange at a stop light near City Hall after Heron sideswiped her driver’s side door.
Heron then hopped off his bike and jumped on the back of Bullock’s car, breaking the windshield and causing glass to fall on her children.
During the commotion, his gun fell from his waistband and he quickly brandished the gun at the mother before headbutting and shoving the 23-year-old and then walking back to his bike.
No one was hurt in the incident.
“The kids were screaming. Like it was insane,” Bullock told the local CBS outlet, adding later, “The only thing that protected my kids from not having a bunch of glass from shattering on top of them is that my back windshield was tinted.”
“There’s not a scratch on them,” Bullock told NBC10 at the time. “It was just the simple fact that I had kids in the car. I just wanted to protect them, honestly.”
Heron was arrested after his employer tipped off police and they found his motorcycle outside his home in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia.
He was booked on a $2.5 million bail that would later go up to $4 million.
Bullock was delivering for Uber Eats at the time of the incident, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Heron is due back in court on June 5 for his sentencing.
