Phillies fans are a unique bunch, and they showed that again ahead of Game 3 of the NLCS between their beloved team and the Diamondbacks.

In an attempt to give their ballclub the upper hand, several fans went online and started purchasing tickets for the game at Chase Field so that Diamondbacks fans couldn’t.

Game 3, which ended as a 2-1 Diamondbacks win, began at 2 p.m. in Arizona and likely caused ticket prices to plummet.

At one point, the get-in price cost as little as $10, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported

The creative fans that they are, some Phillies took advantage of the low prices and bought swaths of seats.

“GM to everyone except AZ, I just bought 14 tickets for game 3 in Arizona to assure that there will be 14 less loser diamondback fans,” X user @ugh_its_Dan wrote. “If there are any Phillies fans out there in AZ need of a ticket shoot me DM. No charge, will accept a donation if you feel so obliged.”

Dan, who described himself as a lifelong Phillies fan of roughly 30 years to The Post in a direct message, said the idea came to him when he noticed the stark difference in ticket prices in Arizona and what they had been in Philly.

He wanted to fly out to Phoenix for the game, but because it was his son’s birthday on Thursday, that plan was a no-go.

Then he came up with a new plan after seeing 14 seats on secondary ticket seller SeatGeek.

“Just thought to myself, it would be cool if I could find 14 Phillies fans out there to give the tickets to for no charge, but if they wanted to send something as a donation I would accept it,” he said.

“So I bought 14 tickets, put the tweet out, and when people DMed me I asked to prove they were in Arizona and Phillies fans.”

Dan admitted there may have been a few Diamondbacks fans who were able to slip through the cracks and get a few tickets from him.

But he seemed to take that in stride.

“At the end of the day, I just felt like I had a unique opportunity to get Phillies fans in Arizona to a playoff game and support our team,” Dan added. “That’s really it. Just want to put good vibes and good karma out there.”

Phillies fans had a lot to be feeling good about entering the game, but the Diamondbacks were able to slow down their potent offense in Game 3 to avoid a huge 3-0 hole.

A number of Phillies fans also were seen in Arizona, with NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark posting a video to social media of the large group of Philadelphia fans behind their dugout.
